How 3d modeling can help you

3D Modeling has become the key factor to visualizing developments, product designs and exhibition stands. The benefit of taking the concept to the virtual grinding stone lies in reducing the time it takes to get your product out for the public. The pre-visualized model can be applied sent through the pipeline for changes and then approval. Specific details and instructions within the 3d model allow the manufacturing of the product to be sped up significantly, saving you both time and money. Allowing you to market your product before the competition gives you the upper hand over the competitors, giving you faster turnover and a higher income into from your product or development.

The modeling phase begins by us bringing the 2D CAD/blueprint elements into our 3D software where we line them up in order to start creating usable 3D geometry. Once an rough mold has been established, we start to add extra details to the 3d model. When dealing with and architectural project, other 3D elements/objects such as furniture, light fittings, tiles, landscaping with plants & trees, cars people and even pieces of artwork are constructed into the scene to flesh out the details and is the first step to creating the reality. This of course can all be to the architect/designers specifications.

A little bit about the 3d modeling process

When dealing with a product design or exhibition stands, the details entail all the specific curves, layout and labels to brand your unique product. In some situations the architect will actually have a pre-built 3D model, or parts of it. It can save a lot of time in the modeling phase to have copies of these sent to us usually in a .DXF format. Taking into account that they are of a high enough and usable quality, we are able to develop these further without having to reinvent the wheel

At this stage of production, the 3d models will usually be in a grey scale format or wire frame. This is not the final product but a rough outline of how the final model will look without the proper lighting and coloured textures once finally rendered. These preliminary grey scale renders serve as a review for structural detail and accuracy of the model and will be sent to you to review and approve before moving to the next stage of the 3d production

What should I expect to see during the modeling stage?
